Director: Rachael Di Martino

Zombies have taken over the city leaving little survivors. Two strangers find themselves in a temporary shelter, but food is running low. Will they arm themselves and leave for more supplies? Or is one of them planning to be the only one to "Survive"?

Rachel was born and raised in the Beaches in Toronto. She's written plays and stories, directed, produced and acted in community theater since she was a teenager. This was her first attempt at film.

"I was surprised at how many people were willing to be apart of my film, it was really easy to convince people to be get on or behind the camera. I've done so many plays that it was a pleasant change to experience "movie magic". I found it funny that I could shoot myself running from zombies when the zombie actors had actually already gone home for the day. I shot all the scenes in one day (and often in one take), but getting the film into a usable digital format was a nightmare that took at least a week. That aside, I definitely look forward to the next challenge!"
