Lara has been working in the film industry for almost 7 years now, in front of and behind the camera. Having gotten her start starring in numerous children’s television series’ for YTV, Noggin, Family Channel and Disney, Lara has also been seen in feature films, dramatic television programs and a number of Canadian and U.S. commercials. Eager to grow and prosper in the industry, Lara is looking forward to a long lasting career as an actress and as a result of the View Point Film Challenge, as a director as well.

The Making of “Puppy Love”:
After humming and hawing about making a 2nd View Point Challenge, I was finally motivated by the people closest to me to pick up the camera and stop talking about it and just do it. After my 1st experience, I was eager to challenge myself again, so, I took a camera, locked myself in my room, and made my movie. Every single aspect of the filmmaking was handled by me. I took care of the shooting, lighting, acting and editing which, when everything was said and done, filled me with the most amazing sense of accomplishment. I shot a total of 6 minutes over about 1 hour and then edited for approximately 3 hours and the end result is something I can say is 100% made by Lara.
