Everyday Heroes
|
Directors: George & Michael Ridout
This film was brought to you by the disturbed minds of George and Michael Ridout. We're brothers from London Ontario, and being fairly new to both life and filmmaking our BIO is dreadfully short. We love movies, and have always talked about making weird and random films, but never really got around to it. We came across the filmmaking challenge and thought it would be both challenging and fun to finally stop talking about it and just make a film.
Everyday Heroes was a great experience. We did however run into quite a few challenges. Most were due to the fact that we only had ourselves and a little digital camera, so the filming took quite some time. Being watched while swinging swords around in fantasy costumes made for a slightly interesting time as well! The best part about the whole thing was that growing up together, it was far too easy to make each other laugh and for every minute of usable footage we have about 4 minutes of outtakes, jokes and general tom foolery. In the end it was great to have an excuse to act like idiots, and thanks for giving us the deadline we needed to finally make a film. Thanks and hope you enjoy the flick! - George & Michael Ridout
